ARstudio is what’s commonly called a “book packager.” It’s an unsexy name for a very cool and creative endeavor.

The “AR” in ARstudio, Alan Rapp, collaborates with artists, galleries, and publishers to put together visual books and creative projects, helping with everything from editorial content to production considerations, and then finds a suitable publisher and works with them to realize the final, published book.

The studio specializes in photography, art, and design titles, so the mark is a very abstract, designy take on a book form. The overall aesthetic is modern and clean, with a “technical” vibe, which is a departure from most entities in the publishing space.
