Northwestern Theater 2009/10 Mailer
The Who’s Tommy was to be a centerpiece of the 2009/10 season, so we looked to that show for a visual theme to tie the whole season (9 very different shows) together.
Tommy’s director pointed us to the work of Peter Max from the 60s. We took that bright color and bold graphic style and updated it, applying it to a visual metaphor for each show.
Rather than do a booklet or brochure, we did a series of postcards with a tri-fold the same size, all enclosed in an envelope. And the postcards will be sent out individually as each show comes up.
